Vintage Catalin Tom Thumb Radio Yellow ButterscotchPlease do not use the eaby shipping calculator, it is incorrect. Up for auction is a vintage yellow or butterscotch catalin radio. I have no idea what brand it is. As i see no name no the dial or cabinet. I have saerched the internet but have not been able to. Find another like it. Perhaps someone out there will know what it is and could let em know. And they have, a fellow ebayer has informed me that this is a tom thumb radio. I have not plugged it in but will assume it will need restoring electrically. The cabinet has a crack. On the side that runs from the speaker grille under the bottom edge to the back of the radio. And a crack on the bottom form the chassis screw hole to a vent hole and to the back edge as. Shown. I was going to try some plastic weld on the crack but you may have another method of repair. You use so i decided to leave it alone. The clear dial cover has cracks in it but there are people offering. Custom dial lenses heer on ebay. The radio still has it's original cloth cord which has one small rfayed spot.
It also still has the original antenna wire which has two spots where the copper wire has somehow been. Pulled out from the cloth covering. The grill cloth has no tears but there is one spto on the fabric.
Lastly as you. Can see part of the back coevr is missing. Despite its flaws i think this is a worth while radio as it has a great look and it does not seem ot be a very common. Catalin set.
