Philco Model 70 Cathedral Radio

Here is a nice soild philco 70 cathedral. The finish is original and it looks like the draker version of the set. The finish is still pretty good but has a stain down the right side.

The are no cracks in the cabinet or grill but does have one small piece of veneer missing from the right hand side of the grill area that is smaller that the size of half a pinky nail. The etchusean is in good shape. The knobs are good but the smallest rosette one on the bottom has a few chips around the edge. There is some wear around the tuning knob.

It still has the label on hte back of the arch. The grill cloth was erplaced a few years ago and is still in great shape. The chassis has some surface rust that should clean up easily.

This version uses a 47 output tube. The dial is good and hte cloth covered power cord was replaced with a heavier type from antique electronic supply. The radio was repaired by the previous owner and plays fine across the dial. The radio will be doulbe boxed. Sold as is. Buyer pyas shipping. Payment within 7 days of auction ending.
