This walnut wood radio has left raised horizontal grille bars, a right front black dial and two z knobs. The wooden case on thsi radio is in very good condition with some age and wear marks on it. There is a white hazy spot on the top of the radio where possibly a glass or container was placed and left the haze. This does not detract from the looks of this radio, it only adds to the patina of it. Both knobs turn freely on this zenith radio. Whne you plug in this little wooden beauty it turns on and powers up, but does not play. On the plastic cover on the dial of this radio there is a small hole. Also the back plate is not in very good condition, which is why the washers are on the screws so as to hold it on. This radio seems ot have a new plug. The walnut case sure looks sharp on this radio. This radio measures approximately 12 long, 7 1/2 tall and 6 1/2 wide, not counting the louvers. Thanks for looking at this little gem of a radio, and good luck bidding. |
